Using the colour tones and lustre of mother of pearl, combined with origami and golden maple leaves.
The Japanese mother of pearl sublime all creation, and become a jewel. This pearl is from a shellfish caught in the depths of the Pacific Ocean, the Pinctada Maxima.
The term "mother-of-pearl" has been used since at least the sixteenth century to describe this lustrous material.
The hat is one size and made to order.
